This original artwork was created for the cover of Puripāha Te Pane Kaewa - Ruth Smith’s translation of Witi Ihimaera’s award winning novel, Bulibasha King of the Gypsies.

Visual and performance artist, Erena Koopu, produced 100, A3 prints of this striking image, as a fundraising initiative in support of Kotahi Rau Pukapuka Trust. Proceeds from sales contribute to the Trust's vision of creating quality te reo Māori books.
